"Just an ordinary man has changed my life"

If I was Nilam----

Dharmadeep:  What I feel is that: if I was Nilam, I should feel so grateful I had an opportunity to be so close to Him, I was chosen to be His secretary. There cannot be anything else left to get because Master give me everything. I would have just sat quietly somewhere.OSHO has said, "Wherever you are, just feel me. I am there." When Master is not in the body, His energy is omni-present. It's everywhere. Nilam should understand that instead of creating problems and obstacles to the commune, she should go to some quiet place and go into deep silence. Deeper she goes into silence, deeper she will get in touch with OSHO and her whole energy will change. She will become silence and compassionate. That will help her inner growth. Otherwise when time comes to leave the body, she will leave with this incomplete trip. She will born again with the seed of power.

Shunyo

When Shunyo was attending OSHO during His dental treatment, she was given the job of having OSHO's towel for the dental treatment. There were only 3 people during the treatment. Devageet, dentist, Ashuru, assistant dentist, and there was only third person with napkin and towel to wipe OSHO was Shunyo. One day what happened was: when Shunyo was alone with OSHO, Devageet and Ashuru were discussing something in other room, Shunyo looked at OSHO and OSHO looked at Shunyo. She asked OSHO, "Can I ask you one thing, Master?" He said, "Yes, what is it?" She said, "Do you still love me?" OSHO just looked at her but didn't say anything.
Then later, he replied in a discourse: "There can be no more stupid person than Shunyo." He said it in front of everybody. "How stupid is this woman! She is taking care of me, she is so close to me, because I love her. She should have understood---because I love her so much, I have given her responsibility to take care of me. She asked this question—do you love me? She doubts my love? What a stupid woman!"
So it happens, the closer you come to the Master, the more you are away. Sometime keep a distance and see. Distance always helps a lot and just watch as an outsider. It is beautiful. Yesterday she was the secretary to OSHO, but today she is not. So what? Enjoy the distance would have been better.
On the contrary, today she is in the trouble. Outside she might collect some friends, politicians---but as far as her inner journey is concerned, she have gone away from OSHO. That's my feeling because nothing is going to happen to this commune. This commune will flower more and go on. If it will go down, no problem, it will come up again. But who is the loser? Even if you fight with an elephant but nothing will happen to the elephant.

When Laxmi died

When Laxmi died--she died of breath cancer, nobody knew she died. Somebody said, "Her brother asked her body can brought to Poona and collimated." But OSHO said no. Her body was going to be brought here in Poona but OSHO said, "They better climate her in Bombay." If ordinary people die in Poona, suppose if I die, they will celebrate it. I want to my death to be celebrated. Commune will very happily celebrate my death.
But today Nilam is not even allowed in the Commune. What a disgrace! Not to be allowed in your own commune you had ruled. She had not allowed many people in the commune before. Who had thrown out Chitaniya Kirti? Nilam did it. She said, "Don't allow him." Today what happened? She came to the commune and was told by Satya Vedant, "Please don't disturb: I request you to go back and meditate." It came in a newspaper: "Ma Yoga Nilam and seven others banned from the Ashram" It came in a head line.
From your own home where you were living, you are told not to come. If she was a real meditater, she would have been quiet. She could have come to the commune and be ordinary. There is a song from the time of Oregon: "Just an ordinary man has changed my life-----". She could have been really ordinary. She should have watched it. OSHO said, "If you have a watch, be watchful first. Watch yourself and watch others because watching others sharpen your own watchfulness."
